GLTC is excited to announce the upcoming Junior T200 Open taking place over St. Patrick’s weekend this year – from March 15th to 18th. There will be a main draw and a plate draw so everyone will get a minimum of 2 matches to play.
Open to Juniors from all clubs, including Glasnevin, the event features singles competitions (boys & girls) for U16’s, U14’s & U12’s, each with a maximum entry cap of 32 participants. We will also run a doubles event for U16’s only with a max entry of 16 pairs. Events will fill up very quickly once it’s published online. As it’s a 200 event, entry is accepted on a first in basis.
Matches will be scheduled as follows;
Friday from 4pm – U16’s Doubles boys & girls – all rounds including finals will be played that evening.
Saturday from 9am – U16’s girls singles – all rounds will be in the morning with finals in early afternoon.
Saturday from 1pm – U16’s boys singles – all rounds will be in the afternoon with finals in early evening.
Sunday from 9am – U14’s girls singles – all rounds will be in the morning with finals in early afternoon.
Sunday from 1pm – U14’s boys singles – all rounds will be in the afternoon with finals in early evening.
Monday from 9am – U12’s girls singles – all rounds will be in the morning with finals in early afternoon.
Monday from 1pm – U12’s boys singles – all rounds will be in the afternoon with finals in early evening.
Full availability is required to participate in the half-day matches aligned with your age group. Please note that match times are pre-determined and unalterable under any circumstances. If you register and are unable to attend your scheduled match time, your opponent will be awarded a walkover - no exceptions.
Entry is online only through tournament software from Saturday, February 17th at 10.00am.
